Battle of the Ages 2 was a HUGE success!!!  We had so much fun this weekend hosting Battle of the Ages for the 2nd year in a row! Over 150 competing athletes, vendors, spectators & our awesome volunteers & judges helped to create a great competition atmosphere!  This picture is probably only a third of our community that came out yesterday to help run the show and participate, we are so grateful for all of you!!

The weather is looking nice and warm this week, just in time for Easter.  We will operate on a normal schedule, except for Easter Sunday.  We will be closed Sunday to spend time with our families celebrating and will resume normal schedule early Monday morning.

Here’s to a great week of training and here’s your look ahead…

Monday – What could be better than front squat day!?  Front squat & back squat all in one day!! We’ll start with front squat every 2 minutes for 4 sets, a 2 minute rest and then back squat every 2 minutes for 4 sets.  Your metcon today is mostly body weight, 3 rounds of pull-ups, burpees, DU, t2b, and burpees.  Go fast, you have a 15 minute time cap!

Tuesday – Today we clean!  2 clean liftoffs + 1 clean for 10 sets, building in weight.  Afterwards, grab your favorite rower.  You have 5 sets of 30 sec ME rowing for calories with 2 and a half minutes of rest.  This one could hurt!

Wednesday – Working to a heavy push jerk + split jerk today in 15 minutes.  Then, every 6 minutes for 3 sets you’ll complete some running, c2b, and strict hspu.

Thursday – Today your metcon is first, but don’t worry, it’s not for time.  Just some rowing and rope climbs to be completed.  Afterwards, we’ll bro out with some bench pressing!

Friday – We have some z-press today, sets of 3 building in weight.  Then, 2 rounds of an alternating E2MOM of DU, running, rowing, ski erg & the bike…oh my!!

Saturday – As always, a fun partner WOD awaits!  Grab your partner & get to 830 or 930!

Sunday – Happy Easter!!  We’re closed today, enjoy the day with your family and friends!
