Welcome to training week 2 of our current mesoscycle. Don’t forget this week is Spirit Week at the box. Check the flyers we have posted for what to wear each day! Here is a peek at what you can expect to see this week…
Monday – Weightlifting today is bent over rows superset with box jumps. Then you will have two metcons to end the day. A 7 min AMRAP of push press, abmat sit-ups and air squats and then 3 Min of max double unders. A great way to start the week!
Tuesday – We start off the day with kipping pull up work. You will see some floor and bar work and then finish with an EMOM of pull-ups. The metcon for today is every 4 min for 20 min you do 40 du’s, 30 KBS, 20 3-count mtn climbers and 10 push-ups. Should be a blast!
Wednesday – Happy Hump Day! We will be front squatting for our weightlifting portion today. We will use the first 4 sets of 5 to work up to something heavy, and then use the 5th set as a back off set. Then we finish the day with a 12 min AMRAP of running, HPC and SOH (shoulder to overhead).
Thursday – We will doing some KB work in weightlifting today…a TGU, a Waiters Walk and KB snatch. Then we will wrap it up with 5 Rounds of rowing, tuck crunches and supermans.
Friday – Push Press to start off our Friday. We will working up our sets the same way we did the front squat this week. Then we have two 4 min AMRAP of HPC, push-ups, and air squats. Don’t worry, you get 3 min rest in between!
Saturday – Happy Halloween!!! Don’t forget to wear your costume today! We will have a blast doing a 25 min AMRAP of pull-ups, rowing for calories, double unders and running.
