As a CrossFit Pineville & RISE Charlotte Community, we are excited to announce our participation as an affiliate box for the upcoming 4th Annual AMRAP 4 AUTISM (A4A) benefitting the Autism Strong Foundation this August!!
Our box is committed to helping raise autism awareness by having teams (2ppl = 1 team) register to participate in this charity event. A4A has raised $56,000 in the past three years and has a goal of $40,000 for this years event! Let’s help them crush that goal…
The deets:
- What: 4th Annual AMRAP 4 AUTISM Charity Partner WOD
- When: Saturday, August 26th – “Under the Lights”
- Time: Heats starting every hour from 4-9pm. (4pm – Under 15 Youth, 5&6pm – Scaled, 7&8pm – RX)
- Where: Misty Meadows Farm, 445 Providence Rd S, Waxhaw, NC
- How: Sign up your team at http://www.amrap4autism.
com/new-products/ - The Event: This is a family friendly event that will run from 4-10pm. Food, Beer, Music and a Kids Zone with Activities will be available in addition the the workout making it a great way to spend your Saturday evening!
- The Charity: Monies raised will go to the Autism Strong Foundation (www.autismstrong.org) to help provide therapy resources to children with autism in the Charlotte community whose families can not afford it.
