Don’t be a nut by actually eating an Almond Joy candy bar, though!!  All those chemicals, excess sugar, yuck.  Whip up these yummy Almond Joy Cookie Dough bites (with added protein!) to store in your freezer for those times you’re having a sweet tooth & need a little chocolate & coconut in your life 😉

Almond Joy Cookie Dough Protein Bites

adapted from Clean Simple Eats

Ingredients

  • -1/2 c almond butter
  • -1/2 c raw honey
  • -1/4 c peanut butter or more almond butter
  • -2 tbsp melted coconut oil
  • -2 tbsp nonfat, plain greek yogurt
  • -1 scoop IsaPro (or IsaLean) Vanilla Protein powder
  • -2/3 c unsweetened shredded coconut
  • -1/4 c milled flax
  • -2 1/2 c rolled oats
  • -1/4 c dark chocolate chips

 

Directions

  1. Mix almond butter, honey, peanut butter, coconut oil & yogurt.  Add protein powder, coconut & flax.  Then mix in oats & chocolate chips.
  2. Scoop into heaping tbsp.  Makes 32.  Store in fridge or freezer.
