Happy Monday athletes!! What’s on your menu this week? Adding this Honey Garlic Chicken recipe that Rachel K shared with me to ours ASAP! The original recipe comes from Diethood. I adapted it slightly below to be a little more Paleo friendly. Serve over rice, caulirice, or with some mixed veggies. Enjoy!!
Crock Pot Honey Garlic Chicken
Ingredients
- 2lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
- 4 cloves minced garlic
- 1/3 c honey
- 1/2 c ketchup
- 1/2 c coconut aminos
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley
- 1/2 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
Directions
- Arrange chicken in the crockpot and set aside.
- In a medium bowl, mix garlic, honey, ketchup, coconut aminos, oregano & parsley together until well combined.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 4 hours.
- Chicken should pull apart/shred easily. Mix with sauce.
- Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds. Serve as desired!
