Need a healthy snack to keep around instead of m&m’s or some other sweet treat this season? My sweet #teamanchored teammate, Paige, shared this recipe and I just had to share it with you all! And really, this snack is good anytime of year! Serve it at holiday parties, birthday parties, you could even package it in a cute holiday bag and give to co-workers, neighbors, your kid’s teachers, etc.
Nuts are full of healthy fats and protein to help keep you full & with a touch of honey, this recipe will hit that sweet tooth craving as well! You can adapt this recipe and use whatever nuts your prefer, add some coconut flakes, craisins, chocolate shavings, etc. Make it your own! Enjoy!
Healthy Holiday Snack
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c raw nuts of your choice (pictured are cashews and walnuts)
- 3 tbsp raw honey
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4-1/2 tsp sea salt
- Optional: sprinkle with unsweetened coconut flakes, craisins, chocolate shavings, etc
Directions
- Mix honey, cinnamon, sea salt together.
- Pour over nut mixture and stir to coat them with honey mixture.
- Bake at 350 for 15 mins.
- Sprinkle with any optional toppings, cool and enjoy!
