Paleo-Pie-Crust-08431

Since it’s the week of Thanksgiving & the holidays are upon us, I thought I’d share with you the super simple & extremely yummy Paleo Pie Crust from Elana’s Pantry!  With only 4 ingredients, it’s so easy to make and your filling options are limitless…chicken pot pie, quiche, fruit or cream filling, or {my personal fav} chocolate pecan pie!

Paleo Pie Crust

Ingredients

  • 2 cups blanched almond flour
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 egg

Directions

  1. Place flour & salt in a food processor & pulse a few times.
  2. Add coconut oil & egg, pulse until it forms a ball/dough.
  3. Press dough into 9in pie pan.
  4. (If filling with mixture that also needs baking, do so now.)
  5. Bake at 350 for 8-12 minutes.
  6. Fill with mixture of choice (that does not require baking).

Easy peasy, delicious, gluten free & quality ingredients….win win win!  Enjoy!
