Since it’s the week of Thanksgiving & the holidays are upon us, I thought I’d share with you the super simple & extremely yummy Paleo Pie Crust from Elana’s Pantry! With only 4 ingredients, it’s so easy to make and your filling options are limitless…chicken pot pie, quiche, fruit or cream filling, or {my personal fav} chocolate pecan pie!
Ingredients
- 2 cups blanched almond flour
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
- 2 tbsp coconut oil
- 1 egg
Directions
- Place flour & salt in a food processor & pulse a few times.
- Add coconut oil & egg, pulse until it forms a ball/dough.
- Press dough into 9in pie pan.
- (If filling with mixture that also needs baking, do so now.)
- Bake at 350 for 8-12 minutes.
- Fill with mixture of choice (that does not require baking).
