This is another recipe from our Grand Opening Party! It hails from Elana’s Pantry and is definitely a keeper!
Nuts are a great snack full of protein, fiber & healthy fats. Great for in between meals, a little pre or post workout pick me up, and on the run! Make up a batch of these and keep them in your pantry for a ready to go snack!
- 2/3 c almonds
- 2/3 c pecans
- 2/3 c walnuts
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Place nuts in a large skillet and toast over medium heat until lightly browned. Combine chili, cumin, black pepper and salt in a small bowl. Coat nuts with olive oil, then spices. Yields 4 servings.
