Breakfast for dinner is THE JAM!!! Our waffle iron is totally one of my most favorite wedding gifts we received! Oddly enough, it can only do 1 job! But that job is important, because WAFFLES!
Waffles are typically high in carbs & not the best for you. Enter protein waffles! Today’s Fit Friday brings you 2 protein waffle options, both taste tested & approved!
1) – Kodiak Power Cakes Flapjack & Waffle MixKodiak Power Cakes Flapjacks & Waffles
Just add water & voila! 2f/30c/14p in a half cup of the mix. Yum!! Can be purchased at Target or on Amazon!
2) Birch Bender Protein Pancakes or Waffles
Add water & oil (I used coconut oil). About 5f/26c/16p in a half of the mix (including the added coconut oil). So delicious! I found these at EarthFare!
I usually top mine with some PBFit Peanut Butter & 1 tbsp of maple syrup (because carbs). So, so tasty for breakfast, breakfast for dinner or a post training snack!
