Another hit recipe from our Grand Opening were the Paleo Meatballs!  The recipe I used came about from semi-combining 2 Paleo Meatball recipes that can be found here and here

Paleo Meatballs

  • 1lb. grass fed ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp each – paprika, minced garlic, onion powder, basil, oregano, salt, pepper
  • fresh parsley

Mix all ingredients by hand or in a mixer, roll into quarter or half dollar size balls, bake at 375 for 15-20 minutes.  Serve in your favorite Paleo sauce of choice or freeze for another day!

If you don’t have time to make a good Paleo spaghetti sauce, one of my favorite sauces is Rao’s Homemade Sauce.  We used the Marinara Sauce for the Grand Opening.  This sauce is a bit pricey, but has super, high quality, Paleo friendly ingredients and is gluten free, dairy free, and uses only non-GMO ingredients.  It’s sold in 24 oz jars typically so you get good bang for your buck.

If you’re ever craving a non-spaghetti sauce for your meatballs, check out Steve’s Paleo Goods PaleoChef page or my trusty friend google.  Can’t go wrong!

Happy Cooking!
