Happy Week of Thanksgiving athletes! Don’t forget our holiday hours this week. While we love working out, we also love good food 😉 So be sure to enjoy your loved ones this Thursday, eat some good food & then be ready to work it off over the weekend!
Also, a few good workouts before Turkey Day can’t hurt either… This week is deload week! Next week we’ll be retesting our 3 RM Front Squat, Running Annie & our Push/Pull metric. Enjoy the easier week & get ready for gold stars!
Monday – we’re starting off the week with some gymnastics work…10! of strict pull-ups, push-ups & air squats. Not for time, just completion! Then you have 5 minutes to complete a 200m run, 25 wallballs & 50 DUs. You get to rest to the 5 minute mark & then do that again, twice 🙂
Tuesday – get your calves warmed up for some jump stations – everything from box jumps, broad jumps, skater lunges & DUs. Your metcon today isn’t for time and includes some banded good mornings, KBS & RKC plank holds.
Wednesday – weightlifting today is 5×5 power cleans. We’re keeping it light, around 60%, so it’s a great day to work on touch and go reps! The metcon today is a triplet AMRAP of burpee box jumps, air squats & 200m run.
Thursday – Happy Thanksgiving! No WOD!
Friday – Get ready for “The Gobbler”! Grab a partner & come WOD at 9 or 11 with us!
Saturday – Another partner WOD, because, well it’s Saturday! Bring a friend & work that Turkey off!
