How delish does this ONE PAN meal look!?  What’s not to love…one pan, meat, veggies, only 8 ingredients (including your oil & salt/pepper!)…yes, this easy peasy dinner recipe will be a keeper!  Add it to your weekly menu ASAP!!

Maple Glazed Chicken Sausage Skillet

Ingredients

  • 3 small sweet potatoes, cut into bite size cubes
  • 10 oz of brussels sprouts, cut into quarters
  • 12 oz of pre-cooked sweet Italian chicken sausage (cut into rounds)
  • 2 tbsp avocado oil
  • 1/2 c maple syrup
  • 1/4 c Worscestshire Sauce
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • salt and pepper to taste 

Directions

  1. Combine maple syrup, Worscestshire sauce, and lemon juice in a small bowl and set aside.  
  2. Add 1 tbsp of oil to a large skillet (needs to have a lid) on medium-high.  Add chicken sausage to skillet and brown to a desired level on both sides.  Remove the chicken sausage from the pan.  
  3. Add 1 tablespoon of oil to the skillet and add the veggies.  Brown the veggies until desired level, then add the sauce and cooked covered until they are tender.  
  4. Once veggies are tender, add the chicken and cook until the sauce reduces to a glaze/syrup.
  5. Enjoy!
