Maple Glazed Chicken Sausage Skillet

Ingredients
- 3 small sweet potatoes, cut into bite size cubes
- 10 oz of brussels sprouts, cut into quarters
- 12 oz of pre-cooked sweet Italian chicken sausage (cut into rounds)
- 2 tbsp avocado oil
- 1/2 c maple syrup
- 1/4 c Worscestshire Sauce
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- Combine maple syrup, Worscestshire sauce, and lemon juice in a small bowl and set aside.
- Add 1 tbsp of oil to a large skillet (needs to have a lid) on medium-high. Add chicken sausage to skillet and brown to a desired level on both sides. Remove the chicken sausage from the pan.
- Add 1 tablespoon of oil to the skillet and add the veggies. Brown the veggies until desired level, then add the sauce and cooked covered until they are tender.
- Once veggies are tender, add the chicken and cook until the sauce reduces to a glaze/syrup.
- Enjoy!
