So sorry that the blog is behind!!!  You can blame that adorable face above as she was turning 1 yesterday, thus the reason for the lack of blogging 😉  You can complete her birthday WOD below if you’d like!

Did you all freak out without the Look Ahead yesterday!?!  Have no fear, it’s here!  Clearly, you’ve all seen the WOD for today (and strongly considered skipping it!)!!  Don’t cherry pick!!!  Come on in, scale appropriately & tackle 2016 Regional Event 3…it’ll be fun!

Here’s what the rest of the week has in store…

Tuesday – Running, DU and mountain climbers, oh my!!  Spend some time working on those calves and shins before and after this chipper!  After some rest you’ll also complete 60 abmat situps for time.  All the ab work, it is beach season after all 😉

Wednesday – Some snatch work will start us off, one snatch each minute for a 10 min EMOM.  You can increase the weight each minute or work at a percentage and hit some awesome reps.  Then we’re working those strict pull-ups!  A 20 min alt EMOM of 4-8 strict pull-ups one minute, then resting the next minute.  The better you are at strict movements, the better you’ll be at everything else!

Thursday – Grab your favorite barbell for DT…deadlifts, hang power cleans and push jerks.  This is a fun one & can get super grippy!  Better chalk up!  After a little rest, we’re testing our 800m time.  Bring those lungs!

Friday – Front Squat day!  5×3, then 3 rounds for time of a 500m row, 15 burpees, and 5 front squats.  Start your weekend off right at the box!

Saturday – You know the drill, grab a parter & get to the box for a 20 min Partner AMRAP.  There’s a little bit of everything in this fun workout!

Sunday Oly – Working power clean & push jerk doubles today.  Then we’ll find a 1RM OHS.  Always fun in oly class!!

Who’s pumped for a great week!!  It’s hot & muggy out there people…(remember, you live in the south!)…drink ALL. THE. WATER.  Hydration is good!  We’ll see you at the box!
