We love waffles around here…waffles in the morning, waffles in the evening, waffles at suppertime! As a snack, whenever! 😉 This recipe ensures you get a healthy dose of protein while indulging in some waffle goodness!
And mix-ins and toppings are endless, add a few blueberries or dark chocolate chips to your batter, top with sliced bananas, walnuts, some peanut butter or almond butter, a drizzle of syrup, etc. You could even make them in bulk and freeze some for later!
Banana Protein Waffles
Ingredients
- 1 banana, mashed
- 1 scoop your favorite Vanilla Protein powder (~30g)
- 2-3 egg whites
- 3 tbsp coconut flour
- 5 tbsp almond milk or coconut milk
- 1 tsp vanilla
- dash of cinnamon
Directions
- Preheat waffle iron & spray with nonstick spray (coconut oil)
- Mix ingredients well.
- Pour batter into waffle iron & cook for 3ish minutes.
- Top as desired & serve!
