BananaProteinWaffles

We love waffles around here…waffles in the morning, waffles in the evening, waffles at suppertime!  As a snack, whenever! 😉  This recipe ensures you get a healthy dose of protein while indulging in some waffle goodness!

And mix-ins and toppings are endless, add a few blueberries or dark chocolate chips to your batter, top with sliced bananas, walnuts, some peanut butter or almond butter, a drizzle of syrup, etc.  You could even make them in bulk and freeze some for later!

Banana Protein Waffles

Ingredients

  • 1 banana, mashed
  • 1 scoop your favorite Vanilla Protein powder (~30g)
  • 2-3 egg whites
  • 3 tbsp coconut flour
  • 5 tbsp almond milk or coconut milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • dash of cinnamon

Directions

  1. Preheat waffle iron & spray with nonstick spray (coconut oil)
  2. Mix ingredients well.
  3. Pour batter into waffle iron & cook for 3ish minutes.
  4. Top as desired & serve!
