It’s pumpkin everything season!!!  Clean Simple Eats does it once again & shares a super tasty recipe for Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bread.  This makes 2 loaves so you can make some for yourself and some to pass along to a friend!  Enjoy!!

Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bread

Ingredients

  • 15 oz pumpkin puree
  • 3 eggs
  • 3/4 c honey
  • 3/4 c coconut sugar
  • 1/2 c unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/2 c nonfat plain greek yogurt
  • 2 tbsp fresh orange juice
  • 1/2 tbsp molasses
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp cloves
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 3 c white whole wheat flour (could sub almond flour)
  • 1 c dark chocolate chips

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Mix pumpkin, eggs, honey, coconut sugar, applesauce, yogurt, orange juice, molasses, & vanilla together.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, baking soda, baking powder and salt.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients and then stir in chocolate chips.
  5. Pour batter into 2 greased 9×5 pans and sprinkle remaining chocolate chips on top.
  6. Bake for 40 minutes, cover with foil and bake for 10 more minutes.  Let cool and serve.

Definitely saving this recipe for Thanksgiving!  Yummy!
