I posted the above picture and the words below last year on January 1st.  And while we’re all very ready to kiss 2016 goodbye (like seriously, get out of here), this still rings true!  2016 was a tough year with many ups and down.  But we’re still here, we’re still kicking and fighting!

The path to success is never linear.  There are peaks and valleys and storms and sunshine.  And through it all, community is there to lean on.  To support, to encourage, pick you up, cheer you on or just hold you when needed.

As always, we are incredibly thankful for this community!  With faith and hope, we are optimistic for 2017!  We have big goals and big dreams and we’re ready to START!  Join us, won’t you!?


Happy New Year athletes!!!  We’re very excited for 2016 & hope that you are too!  With a new year comes a clean slate, the chance to start fresh, start over.  A new year brings new (or maybe repeated?) resolutions and goals with a burst of energy, motivation and excitement.

Sometimes goals are scary, though, and the thought of failure creeps in.  All the times you’ve tried before.  Or the times you’ve wanted to try, but self doubt, fear of looking silly or not fitting in keeps you from starting.  Read and reread that quote above.  And then reread it again!

Don’t put off what you can do today.  Don’t wait til Monday or next week or next month or next year.  Next year, you will have so wished you started today!

Starting CrossFit can be scary.  Starting the journey to a healthier you can be frightening or even seem daunting.  Maybe you have 10lbs to lose or maybe 100lbs to lose.  Maybe you’ve been feeling like crap from sitting on the couch all the time or you’ve never worked out a day in your life.  Maybe you fear judgement or are worried you won’t know what you’re doing.  Whatever the scenario, whatever the back story – we want you here!  We want you to start!

All of those feelings are valid and ok.  Start anyway!  Do it anyway!  Our coaches here at CFP are going to encourage you, support you, and help you reach your goals.  Lose weight, compete, run a Spartan Race, run a 5k, just have fun…we can help you achieve any and all of these.  You just have to START.
