Such an amazing group for Friday Night Lights!!! Congratulations to all of you on your hard work during the Open this year & for crushing 17.5!! As much fun as the Open is, we’re definitely glad to be wrapping it up and to get back to our normal programming and lives 😉
This week is shaping up nicely and it looks like the warmer weather is back! Remember to stay hydrated as we head back into training. Here’s your look ahead…
Monday – Back Squat day! Increasing weight, decreasing reps for 5 sets, then a max effort set to finish. Afterwards, 5 rounds of doubles, wallballs, and chest to bar pull-ups!
Tuesday – Working rope climbs, handstand walks, and muscle up progressions first today. Then your metcon is a little longer today, some biking, strict handstand push-ups, rowing, ring dips, and t2b.
Wednesday – Hang cleans and cleans today, building in weight for 6 sets. Then you’ll have to finish a little chipper of running, ring muscles ups (or a progression), and KBS.
Thursday – Today you have 4 sets of rowing, deadlifts, bar over burpees, and more rowing against a 10 min clock. The sooner you finish, the more rest you have!
Friday – Floor press today! Then, all the shoulder work in a 15 min AMRAP of strict pull-ups, strict handstand push-ups, and air squats!
Saturday – 3 partner AMRAPs today with a little rest in between! Grab a partner & get to the gym!
