Isagenix Health recently released an article – Your Handbook to Keeping Off the Holiday Pounds!  So many of you have been working hard toward your health & fitness goals in 2016, don’t let holiday food, parties & booze derail your progress!!!  Here are a few tips on how to enjoy yourself without adding any buldge!

Tip 1 – Plan Ahead!

If you fail to plan, you are planning to fail!  So plan ahead…you know when holiday parties are, etc. so be mindful of what you’re eating those days before the party.  Then allow yourself a *few* indulgences at the party!  Don’t deprive yourself, you’re only more likely to over indulge that way!!  Maybe have your favorite cocktail and a bite or 2 of your favorite dessert!  Or grab a glass of red (all the antioxidants!) and have some of your favorite dip!  Drink 1-2 IsaLean shakes on party days to make sure you’re getting the best nutrition and to keep you full!

Tip 2 – Allow some “cheats”

Having a planned indulgence and even a somewhat unplanned one is not going to ruin all your progress!  1 bad meal won’t make you unhealthy and one good meal won’t make you healthy!  If someone in your office brings in a special treat, allow yourself to have a bit, and move on.  If you’re at a family brunch, plan to “cheat” that meal.  It’s ok, it’s not an end all be all.  Just get back on track with your very next meal or snack!

Tip 3 – Schedule your Cleanse/Intermittent Fasting Days

Schedule your Isagenix Cleanse/Intermittent Fasting Days around your holiday parties & feasts!  Studies show that these days can be just as effective as daily calorie restriction and help you reset and get back on track.  Isagenix cleanse days also offer nutritional and detoxification support compared to just fasting, so build these in to keep you on track!!

Staying on course is truly the BEST gift you can give yourself this season!!  It can be super hard, even for the healthiest of people!  Allowing yourself some wiggle room and cheats will keep you on the right track without the anxiety of overeating, overindulging, and ruining all your hard work in and outside of the gym!
